Ready for some summer-inspired stamps and dies from Lil’ Inker Designs? The design team is blog hopping all week with samples of the new products. And the best part? This hop is not just a sneak peek — everything you see is already in the store and available to purchase. We’re also giving away prizes to a couple lucky comments, so be sure to start at the Lil’ Inker Designs Shop blog for all the details.
Today and tomorrow, we’re sharing the new Sunshine dies and stamps, which are a perfect compliment to our Rainbows and Clouds dies. If you stopped at Jen Carter’s blog before coming here, you’re on the right track. Your next stop is the Lil’ Inker Store.
My first Sunshine project is a simple sponged sunrise scene. I started by sponging a square of light blue card stock with sapphire and denim Distress inks, leaving a bit of clear space in the lower left corner for the sunrise. I layered it with a yellow sunshine die cut, covered in pale shimmering Stickles, and hand-cut sponged green hills. The sentiment, a favorite among favorites from Sunshine Sentiments, was stamped with navy ink.
Speaking of sentiments, aren’t they fantastic? Laura and Ariana have a great balance of everyday sentiments, cute puns, and sunshine-inspired wishes. And they’re all in the same casual, hand-written font used in Rainbows & Clouds, so you can mix and match for the insides and outsides of your cards.
