I’m back with a couple cards for the last day of the Lil’ Inker Designs July new release blog hop. There’s just so much to share during this release, I feel like I’ll have things to share all through August, too. For now, you can find all of the information about the release, the hop, and our fantastic prizes at the Lil’ Inker Designs Shop blog. And if you’re following along, Maureen’s blog was the last stop.

My first card combines the new Sketched Floral stamps with the Smile word die from our last release. This card came together pretty quickly, thanks to coordinating papers in a 6×6 pad, and LID dies. I split the sentiment into two lines with a little masking and added a touch of gold to the patterned paper and stamped flower with a Wink of Stella pen.

For this card, I used the Sketched Flowers dies to create a negative die cut in the card base, which ads a great stitched detail around the flower. The flower itself was die embossed and die cut from blue cardstock and popped up above the negative, creating a deep shadow. Again, I used a Wink of Stella pen to add gold highlights to the Sketched Flower and matched it to a gold glitter trim.

I hope you’re enjoying all of the projects the team has shared this week, I know I’ve loved following the hop myself. The last stop is the Lil’ Inker Designs store, which is full of the new products I shared this week, as well as a cute angel policy stamp set and the Fancy Feathers stamps and dies. Until next time!
