Something about the Veronica Beard look for the current Runway Inspired Challenge had me dashing off to the craft room to play with the colors and patterns. I love the houndstooth-inspired geometric pattern on the suit, but the gorgeous floral pattern was what really had me swooning. I started with a giant chrysanthemum stamp and burgundy ink, which I colored with plum and tomato red Copic markers. Then I masked it to stamp a few rows of the triangle background. To finish, I added the sentiment in bold green and dropped it all on a black 4bar card base.

  1. The Runway-Inspired Floral card is STUNNING. When I look at it, the flower appears as 3-D. At least to me it does. I cant figure it out, if its the colors, the stamp itself or embossing. Regardless, its lovely. Just thought I’d share. Thank you for a beautiful card.

  2. Gorgeous! Love that huge flower Sarah – stands out so beautifully! The triangle stamped background works so well behind it! Thanks for sharing with us at the Runway Inspired Challenge đŸ˜‰
