There are loads of new goodies to share this week, so here’s the scoop: all of the new products are now available in the shop, the blog hop starts on the Lil’ Inker Designs blog, and we’re giving away the entire release to one lucky visitor who comments on all of the stops on our hop. Sounds pretty good, right?

If you’re following along, Lisa Henke’s blog was the last stop.

Today, I’m sharing a simple card made with two new stamp sets and a fantastic new quilted stitched die. I cut a white card base with the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Die and started layering components. First, I stamped and die cut two jars from Jar of Flowers. I used the solid and accent stamps to color the jars: a light application of Distress ink and a few sprays of water gave me a great watercolor effect without actually breaking out any watercolors. I layered the two jars together to make the jar appear taller, covering the meeting point with the floral banner from Blossoms & Banners. The banner and flowers did get a little watercoloring, with a water brush and Distress ink smooshed onto a clear block.

These two stamp sets are going to make some beautiful cards. But don’t take my word for it, head on over to  Stephanie Gold’s blog for even more new release inspiration. And don’t forget to leave a comment here and on every stop along the hop for a chance to win the entire release!
