Entire Release Prize BadgeThe Lil’ Inker Designs blog hop is still rolling along and I’m sharing projects made with the new release. But before I tell you about them, I need to tell you that today’s hop starts at the Lil’ Inker Designs blog. If you’re following the hop, Lisa Henke’s blog was your last stop. We’re also doing a giant giveaway: one lucky visitor who comments on all of the blog hop posts this week by September 17th will win the entire new release. And we’re having a little 10% off sale on everything except the newest goodies to celebrate 5000 followers on Instagram.

LID_Snarky Shadow Thanks Stamps and DieFirst, a fun little card featuring the new Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp and die set. This set has some seriously funny sentiments that will make your thank you cards stand out. And the modern fonts mean it will coordinate with a lot of different image stamp sets. For this card, I used the Doodled Daisies stamps to create a patterned card base. And added a few little spiders from the new FaBooLous stamp set to tie in the hilariously true sentiment.

(We’re equal opportunity spider killers in this house. I leave most spiders alone, but I squashed a fat black widow in the garage just two days ago. My husband prefers insecticide that he can spray from a safe distance.)

LID_You've Been Booed Stamps & Dies SetNext, a bright, cheerful Halloween card featuring our new You’ve Been Booed stamp and die set. This card was so quick and easy, especially if you make a big batch of letters all at once. I covered my card base with patterned paper, then added a strip of colorful tape, and a Stitched Chevron Border die cut embossed with one of the sentiments from the set. Then I added my stamped and die cut letters with foam tape. Easy peasy.

Just a tip: if you don’t have the right color ink to match a patterned paper or embellishment, try layering inks using a stamp platform or positioner. I layered a cool lavender over neon purple to tone down the brightness and shift the hue to coordinate with my tape.

That’s everything for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with more cards. Until then, head over to Lil’ Inker Designs shop to get your hands on these fun new stamps and dies. And don’t forget to leave a comment at every stop for a chance to win our entire release!
