Welcome back for more Lil’ Inker Designs fun! I’m back with more inspiration from our new release, which is already available in the Lil’ Inker Designs store. Today’s hop started at the Lil’ Inker Designs blog, and if you’re following along, you just saw a whole lot of gorgeous from Karen Baker.
Today’s project uses just three supplies: white cardstock, sequin paper, and the new CoverUp Die: Christmas.
No stamps, no layered die cuts, no extra bling. Just gorgeousness, because this die can stand on it’s own. I try not to gush about LID’s awesome product designers, but they deserve a little extra love for this one.
This die is a clean and simple card-maker’s dream. It’s also a mass-producing card-maker’s dream. And a budget-conscious card-maker’s dream. I bet most paper crafters could make 50 beautiful, inexpensive, and easy to mail cards using this die and the supplies already in their craft room, in just two hours. It makes me want to dig into the gorgeous glitter paper, shimmer card stock, and holiday patterned paper that I rarely use and make dozens of simple cards. I’ve been hanging onto this sequined paper from Michael’s because it’s stunning, but hadn’t found the right project until now.
Speaking stunning, be sure to head over to Suzanne’s blog for a more delightful cards.
And don’t forget, we’re giving away a $10 gift certificate to two lucky commenters this week. So leave a little love for the team along the way and maybe we’ll see your name drawn at the end of the hop!
