Fuzzy Ice Cream
My ice cream has freezer burn. I never realized this happened to ice cream (except in freak situations where there's something wrong with the freezer). Does it actually go bad? I think this stuff has been in there for over two weeks. Ice cream usually doesn't last that long around me or my family, so I'm not quite sure of the rules.

It doesn't go bad, it tastes bad, if you're gung ho you can eat it, but personally freezer burn is nasty. Its difficult to describe, but its like eating ice crystals that taste like everything else in your freezer, usually the grossest thing possible is the most promiment. I think its worst on ice cream, steak or something you can get rid of it when you cook it, but ice cream is toast.

Now you know. Ice cream can spoil. I wasn't just using that as an excuse to eat it!!
