Confessions of a Fugitive Mind

Double Doctor

I went to another plastic surgeon today, on the recommendation of my primary care physician. She wasn't comfortable cutting out my remaining stitches that aren't dissolving, so she recommended someone she thought might. But this guy took one look at them, winced a bit and said he didn't want to do it. So now he's going to refer me to one or two other plastic surgeons who are more comforable with this type of work. Seems he didn't want to mess up my progress by poking a few tiny holes to pull out some annoying stitches. Don't any of these people understand that the pressure and presence of the stitches is probably doing more harm to my tissue regeneration and healing than making a tiny cut to remove them?
