Productivity
Hooray for days off! Not only did I get to sleep away the morning, but I was able to do some things around the apartment and feel productive. I cleaned the bathroom, cleared away some (just some) of my clutter, and took care of a bunch of books. All the read, unwanted books have either been dropped at Goodwill or boxed up and added to my Half.com store. I've already sold a book since I listed them this afternoon, so let me know ASAP if you want any of them. As good as it feels to sell a book, it feels even better to hand it off. Of the books on the list, the most highly recommended would have to be One Hundred Years of Solitude.
As much as I would've enjoyed going to Boston for the alumni event, staying home has a much better outcome. While I may have spent the $18 cover charge on cat food and cleaning products, I was able to read more of The Devil Wears Pinstripes for tomorrow's bookclub meeting, go shopping, and pack up some laundry to take to Jon's tomorrow. And the night isn't over.
