Tired Again
I got a full night's sleep, but my body feels like it needs another night or two. Aside from a little unwanted attention from one of our rotten cats at 5 a.m., I slept soundly. For a fleeting moment this morning, I felt almost refreshed. And then several of my joints cracked, bringing me back to my exhausted reality.
I'm even starting to fade on my morning commute again. I thought that had gone the way of my job at WPI, but with the rain-slowed traffic we've had lately, I'm feeling it again. I can manage when we're moving along, but as soon as we slow down and I have nothing to do except watch the bumper of the car in front of me, my eyes start watering and my neck weakens. But where are you going to pull over on Route 3 during rush hour traffic to take a cat nap?

Let me know if there is something I can do to help. I am more than willing to lock the cat in the other room or send her on a vacation to Steve's for a couple weeks. I think we should try to get to bed earlier too. I have been pretty tired recently too. I assumed it was just due to the lack of sunlight and general apathy towards work.

Could it be a side effect from your anti-depressant? When I was in the worst of my rheumatoid arthritis, my rheumatologist prescribed me a particular anti-depressant for it's off label use - to help me get deeper, more restful sleep. Unfortunately, it knocked me on my ass and I could barely function during the day, so he yanked me off of it, stat. You may want to talk to your doctor about your dosage or adjusting your prescription - especially if you've been losing weight.

If conditions persists, maybe you should call your dr. about testing your thyroid, or the endocrinologist.
