Pizza! Pizza!
I probably shouldn't have, but when I was in Manchester on Saturday I stopped to check out the Little Caesars. It's just down the street from the Paper Tree and you have to stare at it while waiting for the light and the end of the exit ramp from 293. When I stepped in the door, it smelled the way I remember every Little Caesars back home did: spicy and sweet, just like the sauce they use douse the pizza and crazy bread.
They had one-topping pizzas ready and waiting for just $5, so who was I to resist? The best part, aside from the general tastiness, was that it tasted just the way I remembered. It was an instant trip down memory lane, especially the cold pizza the next morning. Little Caesars's is just so different from the pizza you get at all the New England pizza joints. Everything about it is more substantial: the crust, the sauce, the cheese, and even the toppings.
Now I just have to figure out how to burn off all of those extra calories.
